Gunner Builds​

Welcome! My name is Gunner, and I’m passionate about design and prototype development. This website serves as a showcase of various projects that have captivated my interest. My enthusiasm is deeply rooted in robotics and mechatronics; however, I explore any fascinating subject that catches my eye, and I am constantly on a quest to enhance everything around me.

I graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where I worked at the Invention Studio as a manager of the metal shop. During that time I also designed and built on set special effects pieces for a couple Marvel films.

My journey in the tech and engineering world is marked by notable experiences; joining Ginkgo Bioworks as an automation engineer creating robotic organism testing workcells, as well as founding Roin Tech, a construction robotics company that garnered support from YCombinator. I then founded and wrote the mobile app for Havgas, an order management system for aviation fuel companies. Recently I worked at Anduril, a defense company as a mechanical design engineer on the Ghost drone.
